  • Brigitte · 6 months ago
You can be ery proud of your first floss tag. It's so nicely stitched and finished. And it looks perfect all over.
I also looked at the pictures of your 15.sided biscornu. It's just gorgeous!

Thanks Brigitte! I just need to write up my design of the biscornu and I'll be posting it on my blog too.

I love the giraffe. I have a friend who adores them, so I will have to give this one a go for Christmas. Must put it in my queue so I remember how cute it is.

    Dear Lesley,
I would have never told that you went through so many trouble making this piece, it looks wonderful to me, and I truly love it!!! The design is so beautiful, too~~~
Needless to say the little giraffe is just adorable!!! I would have a hard time part with it too if I were you!! Thank you sooo much, I will treasure them always!!

Your giraffe is just too darn cute! I'm sorry the floss tag gave you such problems. I haven't tried to make one yet, but from the comments here, I think when I do it'll be a square one!

The floss tag is lovely and the giraffe is too cute

Anyone who can finish anything by themselves is my hero! I'm sure the rectangle or square tags are easier, though. :P As always, adorable crocheting....

Oh, I can't believe it's been so long since I visited your blog, talk about getting my life back in balance!! This is such a cute little floss take and looks like a great exchange! But I wanted to mention that you can do an oval the same as a biscornu by back stitching an oval around the design and then whip stitching the two pieces together, just have to make sure your back stitches are the same on each piece. I have done a couple of Christmas ornaments that way it works really well. I've been reading through several posts and I have to tell you, your patchwork of stars is gorgeous!! I hope I have time to do one up before Christmas because I have the perfect recipient for it. Thanks so much for such a lovely design.
